Ch. 2 A Child is Born
I settled into married life really well. Both our schedules were hectic with my budding film career, and Jean Luc's dreams of becoming a chef. When I first moved here, I would constantly worry about money, but now we our both bringing in a decent amount. Of course, most of our savings go into the house project. That's ok though because it is important to me to leave something behind for my family.
My birthday came around before you knew it, and I sworn I felt my biological clock ticking. Jean Luc just laughs at me when I have these worries. I guess he doesn't think much about growing old and such. I had a pretty busy day so I ate a piece of cake that Jean Luc had baked up for me before heading to work. I needed to research a film and film the mayor's address speech that day.
Our architect added a breakfast nook to our kitchen, and I was even more excited when the contracter came by with the cabinets I had picked out for the kitchen. I chose fushia and green marble to match our wallpaper which was green squares with pink roses in them. I thought the colors would accent the wall nicely. They installed brand new sinks, and an island. I had been starting to make a name for myself, and was surprised when someone sent me a free dishwasher! I was so excited, and couldn't wait to have it installed. We had enough money left over that I bought a dining set for the breakfast nook. Jean Luc loves the new kitchen, and since he is the better cook, is in there all the time.
It seems that there would be a special new addition besides the house remodeling. Like any newlyweds, when Jean Luc and I aren't busy we are spending quite a bit of time together. Both of us would love children in our lives so when I woke up one morning horribly sick I thought it wise to get a check up. The doctor was more than happy to give me the great news. I floored Jean Luc though when I delivered the news. He looked shocked for a split second, but then the biggest grin settled on his face. I knew then that he will be a wonderful dad to our baby. He thinks we will have a girl, but I am secretly hoping for a boy myself.
Of course, once I began to show I was put on maternity leave, but I made sure that wasn't a hinderance by working on my skills. I was beginning to get so famous that I was having paparazzi show up everywhere I went. I'm surprised they weren't there when I had to go to the hospital. Jean Luc was supportive when I told him it was time, and he helped me into the car. Many, many hours later we walked out the door with our beautiful son, Alaire Ray Armstrong. I really wanted him to have something from Jean Luc's country so we agreed to give him a french name. In french, his name translates to "joyful king".
Ch. 1 Trip to France Leads to Romance
My career is on the right track, and my house plans are slowly improving, but I still am missing something or someone special in my life. I'm not sure if it's purely loneliness or that need to meet someone special in my life. It seems however, that all the guys I meet, who have no issues flirting with me, are already taken. I don't care what they say about me, but being accused of being a homewrecker is not one of those things!
Instead, I took a well deserved vacation to one of the places I really wanted to see, France. The country was everything that I hoped it was. I even got to experience a little bit of adventure while I was there, and make a few extra bucks.
It was in France that I met Jean Luc. He was truly the man of my dreams. We had a sweet fling, but before you knew it my vacation was over and it was time to go home. It hurt to leave Jean Luc, but I didn't want to jeopardize my career so I packed my bags, and made my way to the airport. I thought of Jean Luc daily, and my co-workers even noticed my mood. They would ask me if I was all right, and I would just shrugged. I tell you though, I was shocked the day I saw Jean Luc at my front door. I knew then that I couldn't leave him again, and I got down on one knee and asked for his hand. We had a private wedding between just the two of us, and I've never been happier.
Jean Luc had a little bit of money saved up, and we used it for the architect to make the next addition. He was able to add on the master bathroom and bedroom. I tell you, it is a nice feeling not to have to sleep in what is supposed to be the dining room...lol. I missed a day of work though because of the wedding so I have to work extra hard if I want to become an actress.

Kelly Taylor Armstrong
"Meet Kelly Taylor Armstrong, famous A-list actress!"
Well, anyways, that is what I am hoping to be. For right now I'm just a background extra. I was lucky enough to even get that job. Apparently, everyone is trying to become famous these days!
I moved to the Buena Vista area recently with only $16,500 to my name. My parents didn't think I should chase after crazy dreams as they called it. Instead they wanted me to become a doctor or a business woman. I knew the only way to accomplish what I want meant having to leave my cozy home behind. I bought this lot, and met with an architect. He sketched up this lovely house for me, but that involved money. Instead we came to an agreement. He would begin work on my home, building a little at a time.
It's hard for me to go into town everyday in this old, beat-up jalopy, especially when I run across celebrities riding around in their fancy cars. Hopefully, someone will notice me and say, "Hey, that woman is a star!" I guess there isn't much I can do about that until it happens. I am doing well at work, but still haven't been spotted. Well unless you consider running errands for the producers and director.
Two things happened today. The very first was that I was promoted at work and am now the personal assistant to the director. I was one more step closer to becoming an actress! I'm bubbling over with excitement. The other thing was I ran across a celebrity. His name is Pablo Martinez, and he is a great soap star! He took interest in me for whatever reason, and began to give me some advice. The next thing I know, paparazzi were following me around everywhere! I just knew my dreams would be coming true soon. My architect added another room with the earnings I had saved up. This will be were my kitchen is. Hopefully, I will be able to add some more soon.
